Step One

Fill out the Inquiry Form for our office to contact you and schedule a time to visit our campus. This will allow us to provide important information about our school and answer any questions your family may have.

Step Two

For us to consider your application, the following items must be completed and/or submitted:

  • Completed and signed application
  • Picture of applicant
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
  • Authorization for Release of Student Records

Step Three

Schedule a Tour/Shadow Day

Shadow Day gives prospective students the opportunity to experience a typical school day at The Good Shepherd Academy. Students entering grades 6-12 are invited on campus for a first-hand look into a typical day at our middle and high school. They will attend classes with Good Shepherd Academy students, eat lunch with new friends, and get the chance to tour the campus, meet teachers, and ask questions.

Tour/Shadow Days take place from September 2024 – April 2025

Step Four

Schedule a Parent/Student Interview

After you have submitted your application, you will receive an call inviting you to select a date and time for your family interview. The 45 minutes to 1 hour family interview includes the applicant as well as parent(s)/guardian(s).

Students will also be asked to take a placement test in both reading and math during this interview.

Step Five

High School Placement Test

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required for all 9th grade applicants. The Good Shepherd Academy will administer the test. Applicants need not have an application on file at The Good Shepherd Academy to take the test. If you are planning on taking the exam at a different school, please notify the admissions office.
