The Good Shepherd Academy honors Our Lady especially in the month of May. We sing her praises as we crown her Queen of our hearts, and of heaven and earth. We venerate Our Blessed Mother under her many titles and virtues in the Litany of Loreto and pray the rosary in our May Crowning ceremony. Fr. Bravo was on hand to pray, sing with us to our Queen! TGSA will hold our First Holy Communion Mass on May 13, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima in a gesture of reverence and love of Our Lady. In the words of Pope Paul VI, May is “a month which the piety of the faithful has long dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God”.  Join us in giving our very best to Our Lady!

Indeed, The Good Shepherd Academy has chosen Obedience as the virtue of the month to honor Mary’s fiat, her YES to the will of God.  Obedience is an expression of our love for God; more than good works, more than the noblest intentions. Our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph are the most excellent models of obedience for us!
